Prototyping and Testing

Prototyping and testing are a vital component of the design process, allowing thorough evaluation and testing of concepts before any commitment is made to expensive tooling.

Each project has different requirements and we can make foam models and 3D prints in house using our workshop and Formlabs printer.

We believe an early appreciation of the design through initial stage rapid ‘sketch’ models helps the project team to visualise the design solution in reality rather than on a computer screen. This hands on approach enables us to quickly evaluate and iterate designs to produce better solutions.

As the project progresses we work closely with associate modelmakers and prototyping facilities for more complex prototyping requirements such as CNC machining, vacuum castings and visual models which show real finishes and textures.
